What to Bring to Your Free Consultation
A little preparation makes your first conversation more useful. Here's what's helpful to have on hand.
Your first conversation with us is meant to be low-pressure and informative — there's no cost and no obligation. That said, a little preparation goes a long way toward making the conversation as useful as possible, since it lets us focus on your actual situation instead of general background questions.
Helpful documents to have on hand
If you have them available, it helps to bring your current Medicare card or health insurance ID card, a list of your current prescriptions and dosages, the names of doctors, specialists, or facilities you want to continue seeing, and any renewal notices or plan documents you've recently received.
Helpful information to think through beforehand
It also helps to have a general sense of your current sources of income (Social Security, pension, savings), any major health conditions or upcoming procedures that might affect your coverage needs, and any specific concerns or goals you have — whether that's keeping costs predictable, protecting savings from a long-term care event, or making sure a spouse is financially secure.
Questions you might want answered
Many people come to their first conversation with questions like: "Am I on the right plan for my situation?", "What happens if I outlive my savings?", or "What would happen to my spouse's income if something happened to me?" There's no wrong question to bring — the goal of the consultation is to help you leave with more clarity than you came in with.
What to expect
We'll talk through your health needs, income sources, and goals, then walk through the plan options that are relevant to your situation — comparing across carriers rather than steering you toward a single option. You're never obligated to move forward, and we're happy to answer questions even if you decide to keep your current coverage.
